New Construction: Upper East Side: The Georgica

A new condominium The Georgica is being constructed on the Upper East Side. The building will have 58 residences, with 2,3 and 4 Bedrooms. Designed by Cetra Ruddy for the modern cosmopolitan family.

The apartments feature 9'-14' ceilings, herring-bone oak floors, floor-to-ceiling windows and many have terraces and fireplaces. Amenities include common roof deck, fitness room and childrens playroom. Full time concierge. Pets allowed.

The Georgica is named after the elite community in East Hampton. The projects slogan “In light of who you are,” a reference to the shimmering light on Georgica Pond.

The building will be glass construction. Located at 305 East 85 St, between First and Second Avenues. The project is slated for completion during 2009. Douglas Elliman is exclusive marketing agent.

Current available units range from a 1237 square foot 2 Bedroom 2 bath for $1,750,000 to a 2713 square foot 4 bedroom 4.5 bath home for $4,510,000.

  1. Every now and then new buildings are made in the city that never sleeps. It seem s they are not affected with what the other states are experiencing. Keep it up though.
